This receive only earpiece directs audio to the ear, instead of broadcasting out of the speaker microphone. This is ideal when monitoring communications, in high noise environments or when it is important to keep the incoming audio private. It’s lightweight, the volume is controlled on the radio, and the PTT is used on the remote speaker mic. Audio jack is 3.5mm and it connects to the MH450S remote speaker mic.

Motorola Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries can work 40% to 50% longer between charges than NiCd batteries of similar size, but do not operate as efficiently in extreme temperatures.
