Dual Mode Operation
Dual PTT
The main PTT button is larger and sits above the slightly smaller sub PTT button. Program either PTT button as LTE or IDAS/analog. Two more programmable button sit below the secondary PTT button.
Dual Receive
Receive IDAS, analog and LTE signals at the same time. Prioritize between LTE or IDAS/analog calls by selectively raising the volume. Always stay up to date on both channels.
Bridge Mode
Connect to another site’s IDAS or LTE conversations with Bridge Mode. Bridge Mode links IDAS and LTE transmissions together, allowing LTE transmissions to go over LTE talkpaths or vice versa. Bridge mode does not work with the analog function.
LTE Mode
Talk on full-duplex communications, ideal for telephone style conversations. Transmit and receive at the same time. With Priority Interrupt Calling, break into on-going conversations to relay important messages. The built-in GPS receiver can transmit position data at intervals to RDT Live or RDT Pro.
IDAS™ Mode
IDAS mode allows interoperation with existing IDAS NXDN systems while still using LTE. When LTE communications unexpectedly go down, benefit from having a dedicated IDAS/analog system as a backup communication resource.
- Over-the-air-programming (OTAP), update radio functions over LTE signals
- Individual, group, and all calls
- 15-bit encryption digital voice scrambler
Emergency Features
Emergency and safety features such as Man Down, Lone Worker, and Motion/Stationary/detection are standard, along with the emergency button on top of the radio. If any of these functions are used, the signal is relayed to a controller or dispatcher via IDAS or LTE signals.
